Sooo...I made a lot of mistakes while I was drawing this picture, especialy on her horn. Since I spent over 8 hours with it I decided to upload it. If someone can give me tips on improving, well, I'm all ears :)

All rights rightfully belong to Hasbro and Lauren Faust.

Edit: Okay, seems it was my low self-confidence again :/ Anyway, I was serious about improving. I can't ask my teachers in an IT school about drawing so only the dA community left.

Might I ask how you are able to achieve such striking darks on your works like this? I notice a sharp difference between this and your older pencil works, and I was wondering--did you switch to a different type of pencil? It really makes a big difference for the better, and I would love to know how you do it. :-)

This is super-adorable, by the way. I love the pose, and the expression is perfect. ;-)

I think it only looks different because my scanner was configured differently. I'm using the same 2H, HB, 3+4B and sometimes 6B pencils from the beginning.

Wow, I never would have thought the scanner could make that much of a difference. I might have to take a closer look at my own settings now. Thanks! :-)

You do know that when you point out your "mistakes" it makes it easier for us to see the "mistakes"? Don't mention them and maybe we won't see them. When you post it think in your mind that it's a masterpiece that could rival Leonardo, then when someone critiques it act like it's horrible.

Beautifuly executed drawing :), I've browsed through your gallery and may i say it's astounding! ^^, your work has a sort of simplicity about it, you dont add too much to your drawings and that's what makes them unique and good on the eyes : D, If you want Advice, all i'll say is have more self confidence, your work is a lot better than you think it is :)

Keep up the good work! /)
